Things to do in Ashland: Hiking Grizzly Peak

A Hiker on Grizzly Peak in Ashland, Oregon

Hiking the Grizzly Peak Trail is a great way to spend an afternoon while staying with us at the Bard’s Inn Hotel.

The trail is family-friendly, and located just 12 miles east of Ashland. You can expect to see phenomenal views of the Rogue Valley as well as the entire city of Ashland. We recommend to continue on the loop trail past the top of 5,922-foot Grizzly Peak for the best views of the peak. On a clear day, you’ll see the Cascade Mountains, including Mt. McLoughlin and Mt.
