Here you can find artist exhibitions and special projects covering everything from historical art to contemporary art. There are also programs that offer artist gallery talks, films, workshops, and artist studio visits. The Schneider Museum of Art is open Monday – Saturday from 10am – 4pm. There is no admission, but a $5 donation is suggested. The variety in exhibits means even if you’ve been before, it will be an entirely new experience on your next visit.

Gathering Glass Studio

This studio technically isn’t an Ashland museum, but it is an incredible art gallery. Visit this hot shop and gallery to watch live glassblowing demos, take a class, shop the gallery, and even order a custom piece of art. The studio is open Tuesday – Saturday, from 9am – 2pm. Glassblowing occurs Wednesday – Saturday, though it is dependent on orders. Call in advance to confirm times. Experience this unique and awe-inspiring art form at the Gathering Glass Studio.

ScienceWorks Hands-On Museum

The ScienceWorks Hands-On Museum‘s mission is “to inspire wonder among children and adults.” This museum stimulates guests’ creative sides by encouraging exploration and creativity through interactive science and art exhibits. There are nearly 100 interactive and hands-on activities as well as science demonstrations throughout the museum. ScienceWorks is open Tuesday – Sunday, from 10am – 5pm. Admission for kids ages 2 – 12 and seniors 65+ is $10, for teens and adults it is $12, and children under 2 visit free.
