Weisinger Family Winery
Weisinger’s has been lovingly tending its Ashland vineyard since 1979. The winery offers a selection of three white and seven red wines and blends. The tasting room, situated on a hillside with a beautiful view of the upper Rogue Valley and Pompadour Bluff, is open daily from 11AM to 6PM in the summer.
Grizzly Peak
Grizzly Peak Winery offers limited production wines from its tasting room, carefully tending grapes in its private estate vineyard. Their efforts have paid off with two Gold Medals from the World Wine Championships. The Tasting Room is located on East Nevada Street, and is open noon to 4PM Thursday through Sunday in the summer.
Dana Campbell Vineyards
An unbeatable view of the Rogue Valley and Mt. Ashland greets visitors at Dana Campbell Vineyards’ tasting room, open 1PM to 6PM everyday. The winery produces unique varietal grapes including Tempranillo, Malbec, Viognier, Mourvedre and Carmenere, and is located just two miles from downtown Ashland on North Mountain Avenue.
Irvine & Roberts Vineyards
Sample Pinot Noirs and Chardonnay in the Irvine & Roberts Vineyard Tasting Room just 5 miles from downtown Ashland. Both indoor and outdoor seating offers stunning views of the estate vineyards and the surrounding Southern Cascade and Siskiyou mountain ranges. This family owned vineyard believes great wines come from great soil, so they strive to be conscientious stewards of the land, protecting their vineyard soils through practices that are certified sustainable by LIVE and Salmon Safe.
Belle Fiore
Nestled in a gorgeous estate with sweeping views of the Rogue Valley, Belle Fiore Estate and Winery is a unique setting for you to enjoy. Lush lawns, intimate gardens and fountains make for a romantic experience. The Estate and Winery are located just a few miles from Ashland and Interstate 5. The Wine Pavilion tasting room opens at noon daily.
Caldera Brewing
The informal seating of this South Ashland restaurant provides for a sociable, pub-like atmosphere, while still remaining family-friendly. With no less than 37 Caldera beers on tap and an extensive menu including pizza and main-course entrees, the Caldera Brewery and Restaurant has choices galore. Over 5,000 brands of beer are showcased in Caldera’s impressive bottle collection lining the high walls, and views of surrounding hills make outdoor seating a relaxing way to spend the afternoon.
Standing Stone
Located just two blocks from Ashland’s historic Plaza, Standing Stone Brewing Company is a true microbrewery (you can’t get this beer at the store), and one of Ashland’s favorite restaurants. Take a seat at the bar, main dining area, or the shaded back deck with a view of the hills. The menu features an extensive selection of appetizers, salads and entrees using many local and organic items. Families will appreciate the children’s menu and friendly service. Standing Stone serves a full menu from 11AM to midnight every day.
