Local Business Spotlight: The Breadboard Restaurant

The Breadboard Restaurant has been a local favorite for 36 Years!

At this moment, the Breadboard is only offering meals for dine-in (50% capacity) & takeout only.

This local staple is dedicated to offering fresh, wholesome, and homemade food for breakfast and lunch, as well as great service, prices, and large portions. They are also committed to maintaining a fun, family friendly environment that welcomes everyone–tourists and locals alike!

Breakfast is served from open to close, so if you like to sleep in and eat more of a brunch (or if you like waking up early to take advantage of the day), you’ll be able to enjoy some of the delicious breakfast items on the menu. If you’re not a breakfast person, check out some of their lunch options, which are sure to please your taste buds.

The outdoor tables are pet friendly, so if you want to bring your dog along for the trip, you can! And in the summer, Breadboard opens their deck, so you can sit outside and get a great view of Grizzly Peak and Rogue Valley while you enjoy your food.

Summer 2020 in Ashland

Even with the cancellation of The Shakespeare Festival this year, the local Ashland businesses are still excited to welcome you to our town. Each weekend, the Ashland business community has different specials and promotions going on. Each weekend, the downtown plaza is closed to traffic to provide a more pedestrian friendly atmosphere. There is also enough space to socially distance while shopping, dining and exploring! The Bard’s Inn Hotel appreciates the Ashland Chamber of Commerce for creating the Ashland Summer Celebration to support local businesses and keep the Ashland economy open.

The 2020 OSF Season that was previously scheduled to begin in September, was cancelled due to COVID-19. The Oregon Shakespeare Festival has been producing world class shows for 85 years. We hope that the theatre will be back to our stages in 2021.

Summer 2020 Breakfast Update

While we love providing a homemade breakfast to our guests, we must follow state health guidelines, and recognize the potential for the transmittal of COVID-19 in our breakfast rooms and offerings. Because of this, we are offering a limited selection of individually wrapped and pre-packaged options.

Our Daily Selection includes

  • Pastries
  • Fresh Fruit,
  • Hard Boiled Eggs
  • Yogurt
  • Granola Bars
  • Fruit Juice
  • Coffee and Tea

Thank you for understanding our breakfast limitations during this time. We look forward to offering our full hot breakfast as soon as the state regulations allow.
